CTN certificate
The cargo tracking note used by Liberia and The Gambia for imports through Monrovia and Banjul.
What is a CTN?
CTN is the plain English name for the cargo tracking note, used by Liberia and The Gambia. The requirement and the documents match those of an ECTN, and the reference number is endorsed on the Bill of Lading before the vessel sails.
Both countries operate a single main commercial port, so the declaration is straightforward, but both also handle a high proportion of aid, project and vehicle cargo where accurate description and valuation matter to customs.
