What is a CEE?

The CEE is Guinea Bissau's cargo declaration, filed before loading for containerised imports through Bissau. Documentation is handled in Portuguese, reflecting the country's lusophone administration.

Guinea Bissau handles modest container volumes through a single port, but the declaration requirement is enforced and a missing certificate delays clearance in the same way as anywhere else in the region.

Full name: Certificado Electronico de Embarque. The reference number must be endorsed on the final Bill of Lading before the container is loaded.
